Dillon Real Estate

The Town of Dillon was incorporated in 1883 at the site of a stage stop.  The town was moved several times since then where it was initially moved closer to the railroad and a second time to be in the center of 3 rivers. The final move was done in 1956 when the Dillon Dam plans got approved. The town was moved to a higher location and the old town along with adjacent land was flooded to form Lake Dillon.

Lake Dillon is one of the most popular attraction for Summit County visitors and residents alike with plenty of hiking and cross country ski trails going around the lake.

Dillon has been a popular pick by Colorado resort real estate buyers due to it’s location.  The town is centrally located and just minutes away from Keystone Ski Resort, Arapaho Basin Ski Area, Breckenridge Ski Resort and Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
